This event was a celebration of music, poetry and the rhythms of the Nile. An intimate evening of shared nostalgia, cultural connection, and stories from Sudan and Egypt. The name, Al Layl wal Qamar is a transliteration of “The Night and the Moon” in Arabic, inspired by a Sudanese poem.
